Cherrygrove City
Finally out of the annoying wilderness of the road from New Bark Town, you take your first step into Cherrygrove City. Talk to the old man standing near the entrance, and tell him you will take the tour. After following him around to all the places you could care less about, he takes you to his own home and gives you the MAP CARD for the POKEGEAR. Heal your Pokemon at the Pokemon Center if you think you need to, and buy some items from the Mart (no Pokeballs until later).
You may talk to the people around town if you like, or you can continue north to Mr. Pokemon's house.
Just left of the Mart is a route north, and if you follow it up you'll come to a little house. Inside is a man that will give you a BERRY, a healing item, and one you may want to save for a tasklater in the game at the Miltank Farm. Outside, you can also get a BERRY from the tree.
To the left of the house is the road to Violet City, which is currently blocked by two battling trainers. To the right is a grassy path north to Mr. Pokemon's house.
